This version brings to mind the cult scene of the T-Rex attacking, at night and in the pouring rain, the cars in which frightened humans have taken refuge, trying to escape from this monster from a distant past.

One of the 100 « Jurassic Watch » boxes will feature a real T-REX tooth accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. A rare symbol of an era that continues to fuel both science and the collective imagination, this impressive tooth will delight the person who unknowingly receives this relic from the past.

The T-REX version is combined with a bright iridescent orange marine leather strap with a reptilian appearance, lined with orange calfskin featuring tone-on-tone hand stitching.
Resistant, elegant and soft, our bracelets have a tight, perfectly symmetrical grain all over, and a soft, perfectly flattened feel.

"Jurassic Watch" is a collaborative project bringing together artisans and technicians,
each playing a role in offering an artistic and horological interpretation of a movie that
left a mark on millions of viewers who grew up in the 90s. This highly exclusive edition
caters to both the watch enthusiast and the movie fan in all of us, to stimulate our
nostalgia and share it with the next generations.
Our master lacquer meticulously blended and adjusted pigments to recreate the
merciless gaze of the film’s iconic monsters, to whom this edition pays tribute.
Each dial is crafted as a unique work of art, requiring over 10 hours of meticulous handwork.
THE ART OF LAQUERWORK
Our master lacquer drew inspiration from the cinematographic irises of these prehistoric animals to create unique colors exclusively reserved for this special edition. Using techniques introduced in our Sơn Mài collection, the dials offer exceptional depth and reflections thanks to multiple layers of lacquer, natural pigments, and the shimmering effect of silver leaf. A meticulous, hand-crafted process that captures the gaze of these cruel creatures.
The process is slow and demanding, and requires unwavering attention, great dexterity, and total presence from the artisans who carry it forward.
Each Sơn Mài dial is a world in itself. It invites the eye to linger, to lose itself in reflections, color, and texture. To explore, to feel, to pause.
PURE SILVER LEAF
To bring texture and depth to our dials, we have chosen, following Vietnamese tradition, to integrate pure silver leaves onto the base of our dials, before applying the Sơn Mài lacquer. A complex and delicate method, giving AWAKE watches a deep, unique, and striking visual effect.

Based on a complex and exclusive construction of indexes and hands, wrapped in BGW9 Super-LumiNova®, this T-REX version offers a subtle play of chiaroscuro that enhances the depth and reflections of the lacquer, transforming the space between the sapphire crystal and the dial into a veritable chamber of luminous reflection for a unique visual signature.

LA JOUX-PERRET FOR AWAKE
Renowned for its reliability and impressive 68-hour power reserve, our La Joux-Perret G101 caliber stands out with a custom-designed tungsten rotor, crafted exclusively for AWAKE. This rotor features elegant contrasts of raised and recessed surfaces, enhanced by refined finishing techniques, creating a striking visual effect.
It is decorated with a laser-engraved "jungle" motif inspired by the tropical foliage so omnipresent in the film. The name of the Jurassic Watch project at 12 o'clock and the statement Swiss Made at 6 o'clock are engraved in a font immediately evocative of the world of the saga, while at 3 o'clock is the individual number of each watch.
A CASEBACK FULL OF DETAILS
The caseback of this version is engraved with "Spared No Expense" a famous quote from John Hammond’s character.
The eccentric and visionary billionaire successfully resurrected dinosaurs through genetics, and decided to use them to create Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar, a private island he owns off the coast of Costa Rica. Throughout the tour intended to finalize the park’s opening, he repeatedly tells the committee of experts that he « spared no expense »... The rest is history...
MARINE LEATHER STRAPS
To enhance the two versions of the ‘Jurassic Watch’ project, we decided to think out of the box and stay true to our reputation of being a creative and innovative brand.
We wanted a different kind of strap both in terms of design and appearance, a strap that would be coherent with the rest of the project and make your eyes glaze over... To achieve this, we decided to partner with an ultra-creative and innovative French company that specialises in marine leathers and shares our desire to innovate and shake up the status quo: ICTYOS.
The T-REX version is equipped with iridescent bright orange Squama® scaled salmon leather, lined with orange calf leather and hand-stitched tone-on-tone.
Another strap, in ice-brown salmon leather, is also available for sale and goes perfectly with each of the two models.
Resistant, elegant and soft, our bracelets have a tight, perfectly symmetrical grain all over, and a soft, perfectly flattened feel.
