WARRANTY, CARE & REPAIRS
TERMS ANS DURATION OF THE WARRANTY
The AWAKE warranty is valid for a period of 3 years from the shipping date of your order.
Watches
Our warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring under normal use, as outlined in the conditions below. We will replace, free of charge, any defective components resulting from a manufacturing issue confirmed by our workshop.
Please note that the warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- Theft or loss of the watch
- Normal wear and ageing (e.g. scratches on the crystal, marks or dents on the case)
- Any damage resulting from improper handling or misuse, lack of care, negligence, accidents (drops, impacts, crushing, broken crystal, etc.), or incorrect use of the watch
- Any indirect or consequential damage related to normal wear, such as malfunction, defects, or timekeeping inaccuracies of the AWAKE watch
Straps & Accessories
For straps and accessories, our warranty also covers any manufacturing defect occurring under normal use. We will replace any item found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault confirmed by our workshop (e.g. aesthetic flaw, stitching issues, damaged leather, scratched buckle, etc.).
USAGE GUIDELINES
We’d like to share a few key recommendations regarding the care and precision of your AWAKE automatic timepiece.
Despite the meticulous attention our master watchmakers have brought to the assembly and adjustment of your watch, its accuracy may be influenced by several external factors — including gravity, magnetic fields, shocks, vibrations, and the natural ageing of lubricants.
Its performance depends on how regularly it runs across various positions, and your daily activity may result in minor variations.
Water resistance can also be affected over time, not only by the natural wear of seals, but also by frequent use of the crown, exposure to shocks, perspiration, cosmetics, and temperature changes.
Your watch is a high-precision instrument and, like any mechanical device, it requires periodic servicing to maintain optimal function. To extend its longevity, we recommend a full service every 4 to 6 years.
Avoid impacts and shocks
Mechanical watches are intricate and sensitive. While your AWAKE watch is designed for durability, it’s best to avoid wearing it during intense physical activity — especially sports involving high-impact movements or strong centrifugal forces, such as tennis or golf.
Although the sapphire crystal protects your dial from irreversible damage, sudden shocks may still affect the internal mechanism. For long-lasting precision, handle your watch with care.
Avoid magnetic fields
We also recommend keeping your watch away from prolonged or close exposure to magnetic sources such as electronic devices, induction cooktops, medical equipment, etc.
Magnetism will not permanently damage your watch, but it can affect its accuracy and behavior. A common sign of magnetisation is an unusually fast movement. In that case, please bring your watch to us or a trusted watchmaker to have it demagnetised — a simple procedure that restores proper function.
With the right care and a little attention, your AWAKE watch will remain a faithful companion for many years to come.
WHERE ARE AWAKE WATCHES MADE?
All AWAKE watches are Swiss Made (prior to the end of 2024, they were Made in France).
Assembly and regulation are carried out by master watchmakers at our production facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.

WHAT IS THE RESPONSE TIME FOR AFTER SALES SERVICE?
Repair times may vary depending on the model of your watch and the type of service required.
As such, it is difficult to provide an exact turnaround time without first receiving and inspecting the watch.
We do our best to keep repair times within a maximum of 1 month from the date your watch is received at our workshop.
ROTOR NOISE
A certain level of noise from the rotor may occur and is generally considered normal within reasonable limits — although this phenomenon is difficult to quantify.
The sound originates from the rotor and its ball bearing system.
If you feel the noise is unusual or excessive, we invite you to send your watch in for inspection.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS
TRACKING AND DELIVERY
All watch orders include free international shipping, handled by TNT and DHL within Europe, and by FEDEX for the rest of the world.
We ship to most countries worldwide.
If your region is not eligible for shipping, you will be notified before the transaction is confirmed and payment is processed.
The estimated delivery date is specified on each product page.
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery takes approximately 48 hours within France and 4 to 6 business days for international shipments. Parcels are always delivered against signature if the order value exceeds €500.
To track your package, visit our order tracking page and enter your order number along with your email address.
If you wish to make a change to the delivery address provided with your order, please contact us directly via our contact form.
For any delivery issues related to your order, please contact us directly through our contact form.
We will liaise with the shipping carrier and do everything we can to ensure your parcel reaches its destination properly.
However, please note that AWAKE has no control over shipping carriers, and unfortunately, unforeseen issues may occasionally occur.
VAT AND IMPORT TAX
For EU countries, taxes and customs duties are included in the price of your order.
For countries outside the European Union, the prices displayed on our website are tax-free, which means that customs duties and local taxes may apply upon delivery, if applicable.
These fees will be collected by our shipping partner on behalf of local customs authorities before the parcel is delivered.
To estimate potential taxes, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information.
If customs duties and taxes are not paid, the parcel will not be delivered and your order will be returned to us.
RETURN AND REFUND CONDITIONS
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return a watch and get a refund or exchange it.
All returned items must be unused, complete, and in their original packaging.
Damaged, incomplete, or soiled items (i.e., items that cannot be resold) will not be accepted for return and will therefore not be refunded or exchanged.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We recommend using an express delivery service with signature upon receipt.
AWAKE cannot be held liable for any loss or damage that occurs during the return shipment to our workshop.
Please allow approximately 30 days for processing after your order (or product) has been received by our workshop.
