AWAKE AUTOMATIC WATCHES
Automatic watches are equipped with a mechanical mechanism (battery-free) that keeps them running without the need for manual intervention when the watch is on your wrist. On an AWAKE watch, the Miyota movement has a power reserve of 42H.
In case of reduced physical activity or when the watch is worn infrequently, wrist movements may prove insufficient for effective winding. If necessary, it may sometimes be required to perform a manual winding.
To manually wind your automatic watch: you need to unscrew its screw-down crown, hold it between your thumb and index finger, and turn it about ten times, in the direction of the hands of the clock (you should hear a gear noise turning). There's no need to wind it more if you wear it immediately afterwards.
- Unscrew the crown. The crown is then in position 0 (manual winding position)
- Pull the crown to position 1 (a click is heard when passing to this position).
- Turn the crown to set the time as you wish.
- When you have finished, press the crown to set it to position 0 and screw the crown back in (press to engage the screwing). Check that the crown is properly screwed in, as it ensures the water resistance of your watch.

USAGE TIPS
Watches are susceptible to damage from shocks, requiring careful handling. It is recommended to remove your automatic watch when engaging in sports activities, especially those involving sudden movements or centrifugal forces, such as tennis or golf. Although the sapphire glass of the watch is designed to protect the dial from irreversible damage, it is best to avoid any potentially harmful impact to the watch's mechanism.
We advise against wearing your automatic watch in the shower, even if it is a waterproof watch. Heat can expand the seals.
Important: below 100m or 10ATM, it is estimated that a watch is not perfectly waterproof and will not withstand complete immersion in water.
Even though watches are increasingly capable of being protected against magnetism (magnets, wireless chargers, etc.), these phenomena can have a negative effect on the mechanisms, causing them to run slow or fast. We advise you not to leave your watch in contact with or near magnetic fields.
To avoid damaging the crown, it is recommended to remove your watch before manually winding it. If you do not do this, you could misalign the stem connected to the crown. You should never force the crown.
